A Durable Medium Hardness Mold Rubber Designed to Cast Concrete
FormRub 60 Liquid Rubber is a medium hardness (Shore A60) option in the FormRub Series. This two-part, room temperature curing rubber offers high elongation and tear strength properties that are excellent for high-production casting and texturing of concrete. Other common casting materials include plaster, wax, and, with proper release agents, some resins and foams.
Popular uses for FormRub 60 molds include casting concrete countertops, tabletops, sinks, simple precast architectural panels, pavers, slabs, patio stones and a variety of other types of cast stone and GFRC.
FormRub 60 offers a simple 1A:1B mix ratio and a low-viscosity mixture that flows easily across detailed models with minimal undercuts. For models with more substantial undercuts, consider FormRub 35.
This liquid rubber has a 1A:1B mix ratio, a very low mixed viscosity and can be demolded after ~16 hours at room temperature.
