CHENG Concrete Countertop Wax

Protect your concrete countertop with the finest countertop wax available. CHENG Concrete Countertop Wax protects and beautifies your surface finish while enhancing the sealer beneath. This non-toxic, durable wax is food-safe and specially formulated to improve the stain-resistance of the CHENG Concrete Countertop Sealer while providing a renewable shine whenever your countertop needs a little "pick-me-up".

CHENG Buffing Pad is made from real sheepskin to create a high-luster surface finish. This product can be used by hand or with an electric polisher for varying degrees of sheens. Use CHENG Buffing Pad after the process of waxing a concrete surface:

Apply CHENG Wax with damp ;sponge applicator.
Remove excess CHENG Wax with textured cloth.
Buff concrete surface with CHENG Buffing Pad by hand or with electric polisher.

For electric polishers, CHENG Buffing Pad features a drawstring cinch to tightly secure the product to a holder and allows for quick and easy change. Can be used with CHENG 5" Hook + Loop Polishing Pad Holder.

Applying CHENG Food-Safe Concrete Countertop Wax

Supplies you'll need:

CHENG Concrete Wax
sponge wax applicator
wax removal cloths
CHENG Concrete Buffing Pad

Waxing Application:

You can wax your concrete surface 48 hours after the sealer passes the water drop test.
Several thin “invisible” applications of CHENG Concrete Wax are recommended.
Applying the wax with a sponge wax applicator will help achieve an ideal surface finish.
Dampen the applicator with clean water and wring out. Use the damp applicator to apply a thin coat of wax in circular patterns, working on 2 square feet at a time.
Immediately after applying the wax (before it dries), use the wax removal cloths to wipe off excess wax—it will seem like you’ve wiped up all of the wax but you will be leaving behind an “invisible” layer of wax protection on the surface.
Repeat this process three times.
Once the entire countertop has been waxed, use the CHENG Buffing Pad to buff out the finish. If needed, use a 0000# steel wool pad to lightly buff out streaking or unevenness in the wax finish.

Shelf Life

Under normal conditions when the containers are kept dry and moisture free, out of direct sunlight, the shelf life of an unopened product is (12) months from the date of purchase. Additionally product should be protected from freezing. Rotate inventory to maintain product that is within limits.

Warranty

Warranty of this product, when used according to the directions, is limited to refund of purchase price, or replacement of product (if defective), at manufactures/seller’s option. CHENG Concrete shall not be liable for cost of labor or direct and/or incidental consequential damages.
