• Make the project approachable to build, utilizing one form to make two concrete pieces while creating a distinctive, interlocking design;
• Create a functional piece of furniture that balances the polished surface of concrete and the warm look and feel of wood;
• Be a semi-permanent, lightweight installation, allowing the user to move the bench at any time to any location including elevated environments.

Because this version of the RHOMBA Bench is made with Surecrete GFRC (also available is RHOMBA Bench Wetcast), it is lightweight at only 175 lbs making it ideal for any location including urban, rooftop environments where weight is a structural concern. The RHOMBA Bench How-to Project Drawings include 12 pages of clearly illustrated step-by-step instructions detailing form construction, techniques for hand-packing D-FRC, and tips on de-molding, finishing, and installing. Drawings also include a full list of materials and supplies required to complete the project.
