Westcoat CA-60 Grout Tape | 3-Pack
About
Create the look of tile with grout tape and concrete overlays
A skip trowel texture on its own reads as one continuous surface. Grout lines are what make it look like tile, and on a cementitious overlay, they're made with tape.
CA-60 goes down on the dry grout coat before the texture skip trowel coat. When the texture coat is dry and the tape comes up, the grout coat shows through as grout lines framed by raised texture, giving the surface a 3-dimensional finish that mimics tile. Tile size and grout line width are up to you, so each installation can have its own layout.
It's used in Westcoat custom finish systems such as Texture-Crete Custom and MACoat Custom on driveways, walkways, patios, courtyards, entryways, showrooms, and pool decks. In the Texture-Crete Wood Finish system, the same tape lays out decking and wood plank patterns.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About Westcoat CA-60 Grout Tape
How much tape is in a 3-pack?
Each 3-pack has three rolls of the same width, at about 55 linear yards per roll, for roughly 165 linear yards total. How much area that covers depends on your tile size and layout, so it helps to estimate the total length of grout lines in your pattern.
Which width should I choose?
The width sets the size of your grout lines. All three widths install the same way, so choose 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" based on the look you want and the scale of your tile or plank layout.
Can I apply CA-60 directly to concrete?
No. CA-60 goes on the dry grout coat of a Westcoat custom finish system, before the texture skip trowel coat.
When should I remove the grout tape?
Pull the tape once the texture coat is dry. For best results, don't leave it down longer than 24 hours.
Can I use it for a wood plank pattern?
Yes. In the Texture-Crete Wood Finish system, CA-60 is used to lay out decking or wood plank patterns, with board size and spacing set to suit the job.
